Operational Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from all provinces of Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir are eligible. Qualifying business activities include manufacturing, processing, assembly, industrial craftsmanship, local value addition, ICT & digital services, tourism, and other productive sectors. Producers who sell their manufactured products directly to consumers are eligible. There is no minimum business-age requirement.
No. Businesses engaged purely in trading, commercial retailing, wholesale distribution, importing, or reselling finished products without local manufacturing or value addition are strictly not eligible. National SME Expo 2027 is exclusively dedicated to Pakistani makers, producers, and value-adding innovators.
Applying is based on a simple self-declaration of your enterprise category (Micro, Small, or Medium). Annual sales figures, bank turnover statements, and audited accounts are not required for this classification. The only mandatory credential is the Principal Applicant's CNIC (NTN is optional). You must also provide your company profile, business activity, sector cluster, accurate product/service descriptions, and clear product photographs (or product catalogue/brochure if available).
No. Submitting an online application is 100% Free of charge (Rs. 0). There is no processing or registration fee. Subsidized stall participation charges are payable strictly if and after your enterprise is provisionally selected by the SMEDA National Evaluation Committee.
Two turnkey subsidized exhibition stall options are available:
Both packages include modular Octanorm aluminum partition walls, standard spotlight illumination, a 5A single-phase power plug/distribution, official SMEDA fascia board with company branding, and furniture (1 discussion table, 2 chairs, waste bin). In the furniture cluster, a limited number of selected Small/Medium exhibitors may be granted larger open-display spaces upon SMEDA approval.
No. Applicants cannot choose their stall location or demand a larger stall later. Stall positions are strategically allocated by the SMEDA Organizing Committee according to sectoral cluster zoning, security protocols, and architectural floor plans across Halls 02 & 03. Your self-declared enterprise size determines your assigned stall category—please select your category accurately and do not declare Micro status merely for a lower fee.
A targeted financial contribution of PKR 45,000 is provided to assist with logistics, travel, and accommodation for:
Important Exclusions: Enterprises located within Lahore do not qualify. An enterprise meeting both Micro and Women Enterprise criteria receives one contribution only (PKR 45,000). Outstation male-owned Small or Medium enterprises are not eligible for this support.
Participation support is not deducted from the initial participation fee. The support is released after the Expo upon verified physical attendance. All selected exhibitors must operate their stalls across all three exhibition days (15, 16, and 17 January 2027) with at least one registered representative present daily. Funds are disbursed following the completion of prescribed SMEDA administrative and financial verification procedures.
Eligible applications are evaluated on transparent merit by the SMEDA National Evaluation Committee based on four core pillars: (1) Contribution to Pakistan's SME cluster showcase, (2) Suitability for exhibition, (3) Potential for B2B buyer linkages and domestic/export supply chains, and (4) Value addition or distinctiveness of products/services. Note that no additional material will be sought for evaluation—revisions after submission are not possible, so review all descriptions and images carefully before submitting.
The closing deadline for online applications is 30 November 2026, 11:59 PM (Pakistan Standard Time). Applications must be completed online through the official SMEDA Expo Portal at: https://smerp.smeda.org/.
Provisionally selected enterprises will receive an official offer via portal and email specifying the assigned stall category, fee, and exact deadlines. You must accept the offer and upload Pay Order details/proof within seven (7) SMEDA working days of issuance. The original physical Pay Order must reach the designated SMEDA receiving office within three (3) additional SMEDA working days thereafter. Pay Orders must be drawn strictly in favour of:
Small & Medium Enterprises Development Authority
Payment proof alone does not confirm your stall. Final participation is confirmed strictly after SMEDA Finance physically verifies the original Pay Order.
Each confirmed exhibitor must nominate two (2) official representatives. At least one registered representative must be physically present and actively operating the stall during all Expo opening hours on each of the three days (15, 16, and 17 January 2027); representatives may alternate. Exhibitors are responsible for bringing their own products, samples, and marketing materials, and for arranging their own travel, lodging, and exhibit cargo logistics.
